Online Round Table

 

The Online Roundtable is a joint effort of www.topretailing.com and www.retailwire.com headquartered in US.

Established in February of 2002, RetailWire.com is the retailing industry's premier online discussion forum, principally serving executives and upper level management in North America and Europe, among whom 85 percent has management level and above, 1/3 retailers; 1/3 manufacturer/agency; 1/3 others - including tech, associations, media, financial analysts and educators. The foundation of RetailWire's expertise is the RetailWire "BrainTrust" - a panel of over 100 retailing experts with a broad range of knowledge and experience. It has now more than 45,000 web members and over 26,000 eNewsletter subscribers.

RetailWire is supported via sponsorships by leading retail suppliers and service organizations e.g. Nielsen, IBM, DemandTec, HCL; Campbell Soup, Unilever, P&G, Neste-Purina.

Through a cooperative agreement established in November 2007 with Topretailing.com, China's most influential retail industry news and information portal, RetailWire will provide, essentially, an "interface to the West." Jointly, RetailWire and Topretailing will develop platforms for exchange of information, advice and opinions between retailing experts from the U.S. and China. The nature of the exchanges will range from the theoretical to the practical, providing expertise to Chinese businesses, and opening commercial opportunities on both sides.
